What we process

Depending on how you use the website, we may process contact and correspondence information that you provide voluntarily, technical information required to deliver and secure the website, and optional usage or media-related information when you consent to optional third-party services.

• Respond to business, publishing, press, recruitment or other communications that you initiate.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and protect legitimate operational and security interests.
• Measure website use through Google Analytics and load privacy-enhanced YouTube media only when you explicitly accept optional services.

The applicable legal basis depends on the processing activity and may include consent, steps taken at your request, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations or legitimate interests. Service providers and recipients

The website uses Vercel for web hosting and deployment and Supabase for application data and storage. Google Analytics and privacy-enhanced YouTube media are optional and are used only after the relevant consent has been granted. Providers may process technical data necessary to deliver their services under their own terms and data-protection arrangements.

International data transfers

Some service providers operate internationally. Depending on the service and request, technical or optional-service data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, the relevant provider is responsible for applying its applicable international data-transfer mechanisms and safeguards.

Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate business records, or to meet legal and operational requirements. Optional-service consent preferences are stored locally for up to one year before the website asks again.

The public Chaos Gates website does not use personal data to make solely automated decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects for visitors.

Optional services choice

Google Analytics and privacy-enhanced YouTube media are optional. They are not loaded before you accept optional services. Rejecting optional services does not limit access to the core public website, and you can reopen your choice at any time through Privacy settings.
